This is a vodcast of a video that was taken about 5 years ago. This video was when I went to Pompei for a European vacation.
This technology was fairly easy to produce, however, with the program I used can be difficult in a school setting. A lot of preparation is necessary to complete a project like this with students:
1. Checking or requesting permission to film students and publish it as a video.
2. Youtube is an free online source for vodcasts, however, it is a blocked website on the county school network.
But the beauty of using youtube as the vodcast source with students:
1. The majority of students can access it from home.
2. Also, many students have probably used youtube to upload their own videos.
However, teachers have available to them on the school network access to TeacherTube, which is youtube, but for educational purposes. Next time you want to upload a video of your own for class, TeacherTube is available and free!
